An influx of abandoned and lost animals in Western Sydney occurred due to the cost of living and housing crisis, placing pressure amongst animal ownership.
Towards these issues, BARC provides as much care as possible, with services to home and relocate over 300 animals at their centre.

They provide free food banks and medical aid to support animals in need.
The non-for-profit organisation remains hopeful in uniting pets with loving owners, pleading communities to undertake precautionary measures to ensure animal welfare.
